This mounting system simplifies installation to the fullest. Smaller size panels utilize a 2-piece 45 degree French cleat and larger size panels utilize a 4-way 90 degree French cleat design. Please refer to the master chart below to see what distance from the edge each of your prints should be.

Are the 4WFC’s designed for outdoor use?
Indoor application only
Environment is to be free of direct UV sunlight, weather, and major dust and debris
Can I mount products other than metal?
Yes, the 4WFC’s are also compatible with plastics such as acrylic, ABS, and expanded PVC as well as finished wood (must be clean and dry and free from debris)
What Bar & Wall Cleat widths are available (all products provide a .5” float)?
Wall Cleats are available in the following widths:
- 1.25” widths for the 4”, 6” & 10” sizes
- 1.60” widths for the 14”, 20” & 30” sizes or when a more robust mount is desirable
Bars are available in the following widths:
- 1.25” widths from 7” to 28”
- 1.60” widths from 14” to 54”
Are all bar lengths mix & match (compatible)?
All 1.25” bar widths are mix and match
All 1.60” bar widths are mix and match

What type of wall anchors or screws should I use?
Each screw kit includes two #8-15 1.5” panhead screws and two #8-10 7/8” plastic drywall anchors
What is included in a case of 100 Two-Piece Mounts (Distribution Kit)?
A wall cleat with level, a print side cleat and a screw kit with wall anchors make up a set
There are 100 individually wrapped sets in each case
How are the 4 Way French Cleats packaged in a case (Distribution Kit)?
Each set is made up of 6 parts:
- 4 bars lengths
- 1 wall cleat with a level
- 1 screw kit with wall anchors
Once adhered to a panel, can the bars be removed or reapplied?
If you quickly recognize the mistake, you may be able to carefully remove the mount from the panel and reuse
The tape can be scraped off and reapplied if needed
Replacement tape will soon be available for purchase
How much weight can the 4-Way French Cleat Hanging System hold?
It can hold from 12lbs to 886lbs based on material and bars used

A full-size sheet (49”x97”) of our white, gloss ChromaLuxe Aluminum weighs 22.5lbs
What tools do I need for installation?
All you need is a pencil, screwdriver and drill (if you need to use wall anchors)

Will the 4WFC’s work with framed prints?
No, it is not designed for framed prints
Can I rotate my print from landscape to portrait orientation?
Yes, the mounting system is compatible for both portrait and landscape display
Is this system secure enough for high-traffic areas?
The mounting system is very secure but not recommended for high-traffic areas at this time
How far does the print extend from the wall once hung?
This mounting system provides for a .5” float from the wall
You could stack the mounts to create a 1” float from the wall
